Unisex chain cufflinks, in 925 silver plated with 18k gold, large smooth tiger's eye (diameter of 2 cm), and the freshwater pearl with a diameter of 9 mm.
Once called “sleeve buttons”, they originated in the United Kingdom in the 17th century.
From the United Kingdom this fashion spread to neighbouring France where, for the first time in 1788, the term “cufflink” was used; at the court of Versailles it had become almost obligatory to wear this ornament, which especially in that environment, suited the status of a noble and elegant accessory par excellence.
The great Italian and foreign designers propose cufflinks for both formal wear, elegant yet sporty wear and casual wear, and this line is still in use today.
