Tanzanite and Rock Crystal Monachella Earrings Painted with 24k Gold

925 silver plated 18k gold drop earrings with tanzanite and rock crystal hand painted with 24k gold using my gem gilding technique . Look at the color and depth of this stone. It is said that tanzanite is considered a much rarer stone than diamonds. This stunningly colored stone was only discovered in 1967 by a geologist who was searching for water in the Merelani Hills , in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. The faceted, champagne-colored rock crystal was hand-painted with pure gold, with my own technique that allows the fire to fuse it impeccably on the gem, but to resist the fire of 780 ° C, it should be of the highest quality. When designing these earrings I was thinking of the wonderful jewels worn by Daisy in "The Great Gatsby". Imagine the scene of the film of the glamorous party par excellence at the Plaza Hotel in New York. The quartz reflection of my earrings are as in the film, a clear reference to the wonderful Art Deco jewels. Unique piece and entirely handmade in Italy.
