24k gold painted ceramic and jade ear studs

925 silver pendant earrings plated with 18k gold in ceramic hand painted with 24k gold at third fire and a drop of jade. Dedicated to those who love the design of the ikat fabric passed down from generation to generation, arrived in Europe through the Silk Road. The skeins of the beautiful fabric are left to dry for days, just like my clay. The ceramic element, hand painted with a large amount of gold applied by brush, was made in three different firings, up to 1300 °C to make the ceramic durable and resistant. Handmade in Italy, and respecting the tradition of our ceramists. The 24k gold accents give a wonderful reflection, when they meet with the light. Monachella is closed. The complex stages of making my jewels are interspersed with three different and specific firings, the first reaches a temperature of 980° where the dry clay becomes “biscuit”, porous and ready to host the enamel; the second, therefore vitrification, reaches 1280°. The third firing is dedicated to the lustre and rises to just over 700°. Each Isotta jewel is a unique piece handcrafted, cared for in the smallest details, and for this reason I recommend treating it with care and delicacy by keeping it in the packaging provided.
