Closed earring with majolica, jade and peridot

Earrings in 925 silver dipped in 18k gold, with hand-painted majolica, green jade and peridot. The earring is in Vermeil gold. Earrings with hand-painted enamelled ceramic featuring a typical Faenza design. The green jade and the peridot give a touch of refinement and femininity to the floral decoration.
The elegant hand-painted majolica reinterprets different styles that, from the Renaissance to today, have marked the history of ceramics, decreeing Faenza majolica a model of culture, beauty and quality. The complex phases of making my jewels are interspersed with three different and specific firings, the first reaches a temperature of up to 1100°C where the dry clay becomes “biscuit”, porous and ready to host the enamel; the second, therefore vitrification, reaches 1000°C. The third firing is dedicated to the lustre and rises to just over 700°C.
